Drop-in Mindfulness Meditation

All experience levels welcome. Learn tips on how mindfulness can reduce stress and improve quality of life, followed by a 30-minute guided meditation with time for Q & A afterwards. You’ll leave feeling more balanced and centered, with new tools that help focus our busy minds. Taught by a certified mindfulness instructor. Cushions and yoga mats are available on-site or bring your own if you can.

The class will also be available virtually on Zoom. A link is provided in the confirmation e-mail when you sign-up for a class.

Classes are freely given on a sliding scale. Suggested donation $15.00.

Meditation for modern people! Derived from traditional practices but adapted to help in our contemporary world. Learn to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep and focus, while increasing memory and brain health. Mindfulness shows us ways to be more present and manage our thoughts and feelings throughout the day. Meditation is the formal focus practice which we will also try during this class. Four-week Intro to Mindfulness Meditation series. You can expect a short talk introducing you to mindfulness concepts, followed by a meditation with time for Q & A afterwards. All classes are taught by a certified mindfulness instructor. Join us in our serene space in Ballard.
